I was a tour maker for the TDF Grand Depart in July 2014, based at Kidstones. I saw the riders get to the top of the 1st King of the Mountains points at Cote de Cray, just north of Kettlewell. Jens Voigt was first to the top. I saw him again wearing the red and white jersey in Huddersfield on the 2nd day of le Grand Depart.
