Billy Snook: completing Les Cingles du Mont Ventoux

In 2010 myself and five family members drove over 1000 miles down to Mont Ventoux in Provence, France and completed the Cingles du Mont Ventoux. We had to cycle up all three climbs to the top of the mountain in one day. It involved 14,000 ft of climbing in a 125km total ride. We began at 7am and took 13 hours, we did it in memory of Durham cyclist Tom Simpson who died on the mountain in the 1967 Tour de France.
